I am Wade Barker. I am a board certified general surgeon. I practice bariatric surgery. I have been practicing since 1996 when I finished my residency at Texas Tech University. I moved to Dallas and started in bariatrics in about 1999 and found that it was much more rewarding than the other fields in medicine. The patients I help are very grateful and you see extreme changes both in their outward appearance and their outlook on life. They are very grateful and that makes it a feel that is hard to explain.
